Loy’s Coffee Pot

I didn’t meet my Uncle Loy until he was 86 years old. When I found him and and made contact, he invited me to his home in El Monte, CA. We spent a nice 3 hours together getting acquainted. Along with his family stories and tour of his home, I got to meet his 30 or so cats. Yes, it was quite a scene. Unfortunately, he died about 6 months later. His coffee pot is now one of my possessions and reminds me of times gone by and my lovely afternoon with a sweet old man.
